My father's love of photography inspired me when I was a little girl.  I remember him snapping away with his manual Yashica camera, capturing the carefree moments of my childhood.  Through the years, I've always had a camera with me, trying to strike a balance between living in the moment and documenting it.  Thankfully, I've been able to combine my love and appreciation of photography with my desire to capture the memories and share my passion with others.

Armed with a degree from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University, I began my career in the world of advertising in New York City.  Other fun opportunities soon magazine syndication, entertainment PR/news distribution, and photographic image licensing at Getty Images.  I continued my photography education with classes at New York City's School of Visual Arts and International Center of Photography.

In 2004, my husband and I had the amazing opportunity to move to London, where we lived, worked, traveled, and explored life in another country for 6 years.  In between our exciting adventures...I worked at the UK's Daily Mirror Newspaper 100 year old photo archive, Mirrorpix, until I gave birth to our daughter and son and took some time off to enjoy being a "mum".

In 2008, instead of returning to the corporate workforce, I decided to focus my time and creative energies on my life-long photography passion and "gave birth to my third baby" lisa rayman goldfarb photography where I focus on natural light portrait and lifestyle photography with a specialty in maternity, babies, families, personal branding portrait headshots (kids and adults).  I partnered with a leading London pregnancy care, childbirth and gynecology practice,, as their official photographer.

In 2010, we moved back to the bucolic "urban/suburban" town of Maplewood, New Jersey, where we lived, worked and became part of an amazing community for 7 years before deciding to continue our life adventures in Hong Kong where we now reside.

Being hired as a portrait and lifestyle photographer is a gift that I am grateful for every single day. I am honoured to be welcomed into your world for a short while to capture precious fleeting moments of your life. The secret to a successful session and portraits is to trust your photographer, allow your guard to come down, connect with your family, be yourself and just enjoy the session.

I look forward to being a part of your special day to help capture your memories!
